The company includes professional installation services with its packages, and its line of products includes smart home connectivity. Guardian Protection’s service area is limited to select parts of the U.S., however. All Guardian Protection packages include 24/7 monitoring, professional installation and app access. The most basic package from Guardian Protection includes an IQ2 touch-screen panel and home automation. It also comes with PowerG wireless intrusion technology for more secure encryption, longer range and better battery life.
Arm or disarm your system remotely, and get alerts to notify you of activities you care about, like when your kids come home or if a door has been left open. Technician was friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. Have been with them for years, never disappointed. The phone number listed on the monthly bill statement did not work.

Smartphone Controls — Guardian includes access to their mobile app for remote smartphone controls. You can set up custom alerts and rules for your security and automation devices, which gives you direct control over your system from pretty much anywhere in the world. We found the app to be decent, but not nearly as sleek as Vivint’s App. Guardian Protection takes customer service seriously and your satisfaction is our goal as we work to deliver protection and peace of mind.
Guardian sends you a reminder each night to lock your doors and arm your system. If your alarm was accidentally triggered, the smart signal allows you to verify or cancel the alarm right from your phone. You can program MyGuardianHome to turn on a light when you open up the door at a certain time at night. You can even add sensors to doggie doors to know if your pet is in or out of the house. Who hasn’t forgotten to close their garage door after leaving? This feature verifies your door is closed and alerts you if the door is still open.
Do we recommend Guardian Protection?
To qualify, customers must purchase a “3-1-1” security system package that costs $1,249.00, with a minimum monitoring agreement of one month. Like the Base Package, customers must pay in full at the time of purchase for any equipment outside of the “3-1-1” package. Guardian Alarm’s fully-encrypted smart home alarm systems monitor points of entry or detect motion with innovative tools that keep your home safe and convenient. You can control your system from the alarm panel or your mobile device to arm/disarm or to view your cameras. Expertly installed and monitored alarm systems, security cameras and safety sensors customized for your home, and always simple to use and control.
We also thought their IQ2 touchscreen panel was a pretty sleek and modern addition to our home. But honestly, that’s pretty much all that we liked about Guardian Protection. Unfortunately, Guardian Protection doesn’t disclose their prices on the website.

They decided that it was not enough reason to terminate the contract early and the request was rejected. No one called me to explain the reasoning behind the decision, I had to follow up with the front line customer service personnel to get the answer. I would be very cautious about signing anything with Guardian Protection considering the determination to make us pay out our remaining time on a service we cant use. I would definitely NOT in good conscience recommend them to friends or family.

When they notice that something isn't quite right they will call you to ask if things are OK. I like how easy it is to use their system and how good their customer service representatives are on the phone. In our experience, their customer service was solid. Overall, the company gets good marks in this category.
We’re typically not thrilled by this absence (another example of the “old guard”), but there are some advantages of speaking with a sales rep, too. Thankfully, our representative was friendly. She helped us identify the Frequent Flyer system to be the ideal setup for our budget and lifestyle.
Price is reasonable, they act quickly when the alarm is activated & customer service is very good. Batteries needed to be replaced and this was detected by them. Burglaries are 3x more likely to happen in homes without security systems. Use your phone to set up and control your home’s security, lights, and environment. "I consider our Guardian security and fire alarm system the best investment I ever made in my life. It's a small price to pay for a service that helped save my daughter's life." Turn off the alarm, unlock the door, and turn on the lights without touching your phone!
